Our Blog Ambassador Valerie of Inner Child Fun shares how to make this glittery Hanukkah craft that’s perfect for kids!

A glittery Hanukkah Craft for Kids

There’s so much excitement in the air during the holidays. With the lighting of the candles and the spinning of the dreidel, Hanukkah brings many special moments that the whole family can share! Keeping children involved in the events of Hanukkah will make cherished memories that last for years to come, and can become traditions that are handed down to future generations.

Valerie of Inner Child Fun made some glittery Hanukkah crafts with her daughter, using Melissa & Doug’s Mess-Free Glitter. Like all Mess-Free Glitter kits, the menorah and dreidel set is truly mess-free and kid-friendly… plus it’s a great way to explore the meaning of the Festival of Lights!

This amazing kit is very simple to use.

  1. Peel
  2. Press
  3. Reveal your masterpiece!

The kit comes with everything children need to design bright and shimmering Hanukkah pieces that will make those little faces beam! Because these kits are truly mess-free, kids can enjoy making their mess-free glitter crafts while the grown-ups are engaged with other things. (Someone might even make a special mess-free glitter menorah and dreidel as a surprise gift for Grandma, while she’s off visiting with Mom and Dad!)

It’s simple for your little ones to design their own beautiful Hannukah craft, and make a menorah and dreidel the whole family can enjoy. Each day, add a sparkling “candle” to the standing, 3-dimensional menorah. Take turns spinning your uniquely decorated and glittery dreidel, and see who wins.
