When little ones grasp and pull the two halves of this wooden toy, the adorable animals "stretch" to reveal surprise friends! With a different animal pair on each side, this wooden baby and toddler toy is lots of fun to pull open, click closed and turn around again and again. Classic styling and wooden construction make First Play Slide & Seek Safari an ideal first-birthday present, and a wonderful challenge for little ones working on hand-eye coordination and motor skills. It's beautifully designed, durably made and full of playtime ideas for parents and babies to share!

Extension Activities: More Ways to Play and Learn:

    • Talk to your child about the animals on the toy, describing the colors and details you see. ("Here is a giraffe. The giraffe has spots and a long neck!") Pause between sentences so the child can "answer" you with babbles or gestures.
    • Point to different parts of the animal's body as you name them. Help your child find the same features on his/her own body. ("The alligator has a big mouth. Here is the alligator's mouth. Where is your mouth?")
    • Pull the halves apart to reveal the surprise picture inside!

    Dimensions: 6.75" x 4.5" x 1" Packaged
