We have been looking forward to introducing our three daughters to Shark Week, and this was the first year they really got into it. Instead of watching TV, we took them outside for our own version of Shark Week fun! What better way to talk about sharks than to have them feel like they are one? Off to the pool!

Just last year our now 6-year-old began to swim on her own. She is as graceful as a dolphin but loves to swim up behind you and scare you . . . like a shark! And with her Spark Shark Kickboard, she can get anyone, anywhere in the pool . . . and does!

We have been looking forward to introducing our three daughters to Shark Week, and this was the first year they really got into it. Instead of watching TV, we took them outside for our own version of Shark Week fun! What better way to talk about sharks than to have them feel like they are one? Off to the pool!

Our 1-year-old was able to get in on the action playing with her Spark Shark Fish Hunt Pool Toy on the steps of the pool. She also insisted that these toys join her in the bathtub!

On our way back from the pool we stopped to play a game of Spark Shark Toss & Catch. We had to pretend the balls were different types of fish in order to really play SHARK TOSS!

Sharks are known for their bite and our kids got a kick of out the touch-and-feel Shark Bait game, which they played over and over again.

As the night came to an end, my 6-year-old was working on her Shark jigsaw puzzle and our 4-year-old was mastering her coloring technique in her shark-themed coloring pad.

Since sharks come in all shapes and sizes, the kids fell asleep with their Great White and Finn Shark stuffies.

It’s been a great time talking to them about sharks and opening up their imaginations. It was hard to figure out who had more fun, the girls or their parents!
