The Scoop

Young gardeners will love using these child-size tools to care for plants, veggies, and all sorts of growing things! The five-piece set--featuring cheerful bug Happy Giddy--includes a sturdy tool belt with adjustable self-stick closure and pocket, gardening gloves, trowel, watering can, and plant pot. A self-stick tab and sturdy plastic clip make it easy to attach the gloves and watering can to the belt, and the generously sized pocket leaves plenty of room for other tools. Discover Countless Ways To Play
  • GARDEN INSIDE: Use construction paper to create brown "dirt," colorful "flowers," and drops of "water"! Play gardener using the tools.

  • COLOR SEARCH: Go exploroing, indoors or out! Strap on the belt and collect items that match the colors on the belt (red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, white). Store them in the pocket (if they fit). For an extra challenge, set a timer and see how quickly you can find all seven items.

  • PLANT A PLANT: If you have a seed packet, use the trowel to fill the flower pot with soil, then plant a seed and water it with the watering can. Follow the care and watering instructions on the packet. Check on your plant every few days and observe how it grows and changes over time!
