Discover Countless Ways To Play
  • Help the child identify each seasoning and name the colors on the labels.

  • Have the child look closely at the seasonings in each shaker. Which spices are larger (red pepper, oregano) and which are smaller (garlic, parmesan)?

  • Ask the child to find the matching seasonings in your kitchen and smell each one. Which is his or her favorite

  • Encourage the child to imagine owning a pizzeria. Help him or her draw and cut out slices of pretend pizza on paper. Ask the child for a slice with a particular combination of seasonings.

  • Place the shakers in the caddy and ask the child to memorize the order. With his or her eyes closed, rearrange two, then challenge the child to look again and pick out which switched spots!
