FINE MOTOR: Place instruments just out of reach and have kids pull them near.
SENSORY: Have kids rub, clack, or shake the instruments softly at first, then loudly. Play a rhythmic beat and have kids repeat it on another instrument.
COLORS: Say color names as you point to them on the pieces. Point to similar colors on different animals.
MOVEMENT: Ask kids to march in time to a rhythmic beat they play on one of the instruments.
