FINE MOTOR: Place pieces just out of reach and have kids pull them near and drop them into the jug.

SENSORY DEVELOPMENT: Encourage kids to pat the different bugs as you say the names of each.

COLORS: Say color names as you point to them on pieces. Point to the same colors on different pieces.

NUMBERS: Count aloud as kids drop bugs into the jug and as they pull the pieces out again.
