MELISSA AND DOUG
Yes, they're real people (and parents of six!) with a passion for play.
Our Story
It all started in 1988 with a boy, a girl, and a dream to make meaningful toys that would inspire hands-on, open-ended play.
The Melissa & Doug signature on every product is a commitment to the highest quality standards.
Our first hit toys were wooden puzzles. Whether chunky, peg, floor, or jigsaw, our puzzles have the perfect fit.
From pretend play to arts & crafts, puzzles to developmental, we have all kinds of toys for all kinds of kids.
Melissa & Doug designs every toy at its Connecticut office, then makes each prototype by hand until they get it just right.
