Baby, it’s cold outside! Here’s a quick and easy sensory craft that kids can complete while Mom or Dad makes some real hot chocolate to warm up the family!

You’ll need:

  1. Download and print out our Hot Chocolate printable.
  2. Cut out mug design.
  3. Color-in the mug using markers or crayons.
  4. Liberally apply glue (glue sticks may work best for this) to the top of the mug.
  5. Sprinkle with hot chocolate mix (or chocolate milk mix) over glued area and shake off excess.
  6. Cut out marshmallows.
  7. Liberally apply glue and then sprinkle sugar over that area. Shake off excess sugar.
  8. Glue marshmallows to the top of the hot chocolate to make “whipped cream”.
  9. Pull apart a cotton ball until it is loosely held together and wispy.
  10. Top your hot chocolate with “whipped cream” by gluing the cotton ball on top!
  11. Let dry.

Enjoy this deliciously scented craft!
