Favorite Gifts for Future Foodies

It was love at first wooden “bite” of play cookie. My relationship with Melissa & Doug all started with their wonderful food related play sets and 4 years later our mini kitchen is simply stocked with everything a future chef would need.

Whether you’re first introducing your child to the food groups or trying to cultivate a budding passion for culinary pursuits, there is something on this list for you!

I hope you enjoy my favorite foodie gifts list!

Slice & Bake Cookie Set – The Classic! Every play kitchen needs this starter set. We just added the holiday version of the cookies set and my girls are utterly smitten. The perfect accessory when your pretend tea parties turn to hot cocoa parties!

Accessory set:  Pots & Pans– These adorable red pots have cooked up everything from waffles stew to spaghetti soup over the years. I love seeing the combinations of ingredients my kids toss in!

Grocery Cart – This cart is unbelievable. It has toted more than its share of groceries through our living room and still looks fantastic. Sturdy, a perfect spot for a dolly or stuffed animal companion. No kid visitor has been able to resist playing with it.
